    Ottavio Masoni, freehand wrought iron moulding in Florence;

  • 1948

    SCAF srl of Ezio and Cesare Masoni is founded and steel and brass hot pressing.

  • 1952

    METALLIC HOOK SHELVING, previously insistent on the European market, is patented and production starts.

  • 1962

    The Company moves to its current premises, width a much larger covered surface area of approx 6000 m2, and an overall surface area of 11000 2.

  • 1968

    Zama die casting starts using the "DYNCAST" system.

  • 1988

    The new "CAD-CAM" technology is introduced using numerically controlled machinery, thus the die construction era starts.

  • 2000

    "TECMIRE" hydraulic die-casting machines are introduced

  • 2001

    The revolutionary new high-speed milling technique is introduced for constructing dies, which consents hardened steel to be milled in order to eliminate quenching deformations and width high-quality and accurate results.

  • 2002
